For fans of the Dragon Ball franchise, the wait is almost over. The highly anticipated series Dragon Ball Daima is set to debut this weekend.
Leading up to the premiere, promotions featuring mini versions of Goku and Vegeta have been circulating online. With a new storyline and characters created by the late Akira Toriyama, Goku and Vegeta will face challenges in entirely new ways.
Dragon Ball Daima will kick off a fresh conspiracy as Goku, Vegeta, and other characters transform into miniature versions of themselves. This unexpected change compels Goku to embark on a journey through the Demon Realm to uncover the cause of their diminutive state.
For fans in the United States, Dragon Ball Daima will be available for streaming on Crunchyroll and Hulu starting October 11. Viewers in Indonesia can also catch it on Crunchyroll on the same date.
Rumor has it that Netflix will begin streaming this new anime series from October 18. Fans in France and Germany will find it available through Animation Digital Network.
Since the announcement of Dragon Ball Daima, Crunchyroll has been buzzing with posts about this new installment from Akira Toriyama.
The first episode will feature an extended runtime, including an additional ten minutes of content, teasing the start of a new adventure (and the debut of Majin Buu!). The storyline goes as follows:
“Goku and his friends are living a peaceful life when they suddenly shrink due to a conspiracy! When they discover that the cause may lie in a world known as the ‘Demon Realm,’ a mysterious young Majin named Glorio appears before them.”
