Sinopsis Film Her Blue Sky
The film Her Blue Sky tells the story that since childhood, Aoi always saw Shinno playing bass in the band studio near her house with her older sister Akane. Aoi also dreams of becoming a musician. At that time he was 13 years old, while Akane and Shinno were 17 years old, and they were dating.
Bad news comes from Aoi and Akane’s parents who died in an accident. Akane and Shinno plan to go to Tokyo to pursue Shino’s dream of becoming a famous bassist. Akane couldn’t possibly leave Aoi alone, she chose to stay and look after Aoi.
13 years later, Aoi is 17 years old and loves playing the bass and is actively practicing in the studio. One day he was surprised that Shino appeared in his training studio. Even more mysterious, what appeared was a 13 year old version of Sino. They chatted and Shino revealed that he still had feelings for his older sister Akane.
One day, Aoi is asked to perform at a music festival as a member of a famous enka singer’s band called Dankichi. At the same time, Shino returns to Akane and Aoi’s town. Aoi who likes the 17 year old version of Shinno and will the presence of adult Shino be able to return with Akane?

The anime film Her Blue Sky stars Shion Wakayama who voices Aoi, then Riho Yoshioka who voices Akane. The character Shino is voiced by Ryo Yoshizawa. Ken Matsudaira provides the voice of Dankichi, Yō Taichi provides the voice of Masatsugu, Fukushi Ochiai provides the voice, and Atsumi Tanezaki provides the voice of Chika.
The film Her Blue Sky opened in Japan in October 2019 and grossed ¥440.5 million.
