Review Drama Nana Anime Series (2006) – Nana Anime Series : Two Nana One Place Cost Different Destiny. Finally able to get another anime series after watching the same title over and over again. So loyal, to the point of being confused about which anime to choose. In the past, I still depended on recommendations from YouTube. Hoping to get an impromptu cool anime, like watching Kamisama Hajimemasita.
But, lately it doesn’t really suit my taste. Finally, a few days ago I tried searching again on the Myanimelist website. Found a title that is a little suspicious. NANA. That’s the title, yes, the person’s name. Why did you choose this title? Because, in the Shoujo category, usually there are always handsome male anime characters. And romance, which is a sign that there will be a love story.
When I watched it, wow, this is specifically for 21+, right guys. But, if you’re curious about what this anime series is like. I’ll tell you a lot here, although it seems difficult if I’m asked to retell it from A to Z. There are just a few things that I really like about this anime, okay?

A little story at the beginning, there were two girls who were only 20 years old. Wants to leave his hometown to Tokyo. These two girls met on the train, sitting in the same row of seats. And, what’s unique is that their name is the same: NANA. One is named Komatsu Nana and the other is Osaki Nana.

She is tomboyish, has a beautiful face, has gothic makeup and is an active smoker.
Well, these two finally unknowingly met again by fate when fighting over an apartment. It was said that the apartment was not like an apartment, like a castle with many rooms. But, it was rented like that. Well, when both of them needed a cheap rental house, but the condition in that place was that there was only one empty room with two bedrooms. Finally, it was agreed that they would not fight, so that the two girls named Nana would share the rental house.
After both of them agreed. Start the two of them living their lives together. With different super characters. So, this is why this film is for ages 21 and over. First, there is the love scene. Second, all episodes always show characters who are active smokers. Third, their love life is truly young adult style. About Blast Rock Band From Zero to Hero
Earlier the character Osaki Nana, called Nana chan, was introduced. Before he went to Tokyo, he had joined a band called Blast. Consisting of Yasu, Ren, Nobu and Nana Chan as vocalists . Since Ren moved to Trapnest, the Blast Group has finally disbanded. However, Nobu’s arrival in Tokyo brought about a big change. Assisted by Komatsu Nana who was later called Hatchiko, also brought many positive things afterward.
It started with Nobu’s enthusiasm to re-form Blast, even though he lacked people. He hopes that Nana Chan will open her heart. This wish was welcomed by Hatchiko and fully supported. He also created the vacancy information to fill a guitarist at Blast. They met Shin-chan. Who is still very young, but his abilities are quite good. Another good news came with Yasu’s arrival in Tokyo. Finally the band Blast was formed again.

The Life Story And About The Gloomy Children’s Time
Hatchiko actually went to Tokyo without her parents knowing. Because she was promised by her boyfriend, Shoiji Endo, that if he was accepted into college, Hatchi could come live with him in Tokyo. So, after waiting for almost a year, Hatchi finally got the happy news. And, he just ran away from home to achieve his dream of living with his girlfriend.
Meanwhile, Nana Chan has opened a little about her life story. So, he never knew who his father was. Then, his mother left him to live with his grandmother. Meanwhile the mother went with another man. Nana Chan’s life is quite hard. The grandmother was not at all proud of him. In fact, tend to hate it. Until Nana Chan grew up to be a closed girl and was bullied.
He was expelled from school because he was accused of selling himself to make ends meet. This news emerged after the grandmother died. Many of her friends ended up making up stories that Nana Chan herself didn’t even do. Because she was too lazy to deal with the news, Nana Chan just remained silent without defending herself. Until finally he was dismissed from school.
Before that incident, Nobu, who was Nana chan’s school friend. He introduced Nana chan to two of his friends. Yasu and Ren, who were looking for a vocalist for their band . After they felt compatible, they were always together. After being expelled from school, Ren invited Nana chan to live with him. The two became dependent on each other, although sometimes hatred haunted Nana chan.
Nobu is actually a rich kid. His father owns two famous hotels that can support his future life. However, he chose not to rely on his parents’ business and decided to support himself from music. This is Nobu’s life, which makes the ending of the film called happy, yes happy. Called sad, yes very painful. So, it can’t be called a very happy ending because there is a mixture of red onion pieces.
Yasu, the most relaxed guy in this group. He is a graduate of law school. Drummer in the band Blast who has many partners. Tends to be quiet but has a pretty mature strategy. Maybe because he is older than his other friends. However, he sometimes thinks too much about his friends. His love life is really pitiful, because throughout the story he is not shown dating at all. But, he is busy with his band and work.
Sachi Chan is one of the youngest. But, not many people know his background. Only Yasu has the card. Even so, Sachi claims to be 18 years old, even though she is still 15 years old. He hides many secrets, some members even suspect he sells himself to survive. In fact, he was born from a mother who knows where. Being cared for by a man who wasn’t even her biological father.
Their sadness is related to the past when their children were not good. Making many of them experience trauma. Trauma from being in a serious relationship. The trauma of having a child. Until the trauma of having a romantic relationship. And, this trauma is quite serious, especially for Nana Chan who looks very vulnerable.
A Love That Is So Complicated Like A Tangled Thread
There is a young adult romance. Who is trying to pursue a career and dreams. While studying at university. Like what Hatchi and her boyfriend Shoiji experienced. Although Hatchi didn’t go to college because her parents didn’t want to pay for it, because she ran away. Finally, decided to find a side job. However, who would have thought that until around episode 16, Hatchi’s love story ended tragically.
Perlu diketahui, Hatchi ini tipe cewek yang cepet banget jatuh cinta. Dia penganut jatuh cinta pada pandangan pertama. Jadi, jangan kesel aja kalau nonton serial ini. Soalnya setiap dia ketemu cowok pasti langsung jatuh cinta. Langsung jalan bareng. Kayak cepet banget gitu nemplok sana – nemplok sini-nya. Sempet kesel, soalnya bandinginnya sama Nana chan yang masih setia aja gitu sama Ren. Meski keduanya berantem mulu.

Not wanting to start asking for news but still trying to find out about each other. Until the peak, when Yasu provoked Nana chan to clarify her relationship with Ren. Well, when Hatchi invited Nana chan to watch the Trapnest concert. This was before Yasu fished for Nana to clarify their relationship. At the concert, Hatchi really helped Nana-chan so she could meet Ren. So, they sat at the very front, very close to Ren’s position. In this part, I even muttered, ” Hatchi, you are so lucky to be matched with an idol .” Until I remembered Slank’s drummer, Bang Bimbim, who was married to his fan. The thing is, Nana Chan immediately brought Takumi to their apartment and opened the door for Hatchi when he came home from work. Who wouldn’t be surprised, the door was opened by an artist! At that meeting, Takumi praised Hatchi’s cooking which made him cry.
After breaking up, then being given hope by her idol artist. Who would refuse? That’s what Hatchi experienced when she was invited to meet Takumi. Takumi’s friends, such as Yasu and Nana chan, already knew very well that Takumi was a player. So, they were worried when Hatchi got close to Takumi. To the point that Hatchi didn’t tell Nana that they had met twice.
Their worries come true, Hatchi’s relationship with Takumi is not what Hatchi thought. Of course, it’s called dating an artist who is on the rise. Have a lot of schedules. It’s definitely hard to find. Moreover, they are being chased by paparazzi. It’s getting harder. Until finally Hatchi ended their relationship unilaterally. Then, go out with Nobu.

Haiaaaa… the love story in this drama is really complicated. However, the creator’s ability is really cool. Because, it makes you really curious. Especially, with the division of the narrative from the beginning to the middle, Hatchi’s portion. And, the middle to the end is Nana chan’s portion as the narrator. When watching before reaching the end, I had time to pray, “please, don’t let anyone die from illness or suicide, please.” Alhamdulillah, it came true ahahahaha. Because, it will definitely hurt.
That’s it, because the name is the same. So, when Hatchi calls “Nana” it’s like calling yourself. It’s as if he’s recounting something from the past. So, more and more scared dong. Afraid that it will be like the movie Orange which makes you sad like no other. This makes me sad too, because the lives of the characters go up and down a lot. Like riding a Roller Coaster. Abis is sad, laughing continues to be sad again.
The advantage of this anime is the soundtrack! Very cool. Rock genre with sad but very meaningful lyrics. That’s it, in the first few episodes, at the end of the show a person named Nana appears. Which introduces several places in anime, which actually exist in the real world. One of them is a place called Jackson.
