‘BLACK BUTLER’ The Story of a Devil’s Servant’s Devotion¬† An anime series that combines satirical comedy, mystery, action and supernatural is coming to Animax. The series entitled BLACK BUTLER will air every Monday to Friday at 20:30 WIB starting Wednesday, January 12 2011.
BLACK BUTLER tells the story of Sebastian Michaelis, a demon-blooded butler who is bound by a supernatural contract to serve Ciel Phantomhive, a 12-year-old orphan who leads the British noble family Phantomhive and his family’s toy and candy company.

Ciel’s parents were killed when he was small, he was forced to make a pact with the Devil to take revenge against the people who killed his parents and asked for help from a servant to do anything for him at the cost of his own life. So, after all of Ciel’s tasks were completed, including avenging the death of his parents, Sebastian was allowed to kill and take his life.

Armed with perfect knowledge, polite manners, martial arts skills and various great talents, Sebastian can handle everything with great calm and perfection. Not only did he carry out all the orders from his young master flawlessly, Sebastian also often succeeded in dealing with various problems that plagued the entire plains of England, at the request of the Queen, including the murder by Jack The Ripper.

The BLACK BUTLER series itself (Kuroshitsuji) was originally a manga comic created by Yana Toboso. Since its first publication on September 16 2006, the series has been published in the monthly manga comic magazine Monthly GFantasy published by Square Enix, which has now been published in eight volumes, and has been published in various countries in various languages.

Plans for making an anime adaptation series have been stated since July 2008 and director Shinohara Toshiya and the production house A-1 Pictures are immediately targeting it. After being produced, the BLACK BUTLER anime series premiered in October 2008 on the Tokyo Broadcasting System and Mainichi Broadcasting System TV stations, in 24 episodes.
