About The New Gate

The New Gate is based on the novel of the same name by Shinogi Kazanami, with a manga adaptation featuring illustrations by Yoshiyuki Miwa.

The story revolves around Shin, the toughest player in the online game The New Gate, who managed to defeat the biggest enemy, Origin, and free the people he was holding captive.

However, a new door suddenly opens, bringing Shin to the world of The New Gate 500 years after the game finished. In this game world that turned into reality, Shin’s new legend begins.

The original novel and manga adaptation were serialized by Japanese publishing company AlphaPolis, with 21 novel volumes and 13 manga volumes published to date. The series has achieved a cumulative circulation of over 2.5 million copies.

As for the novels in English, the manga series is published by One Peace Books, and the volumes are available in India.

Fans can look forward to an anime adaptation to bring this story to life in 2024.
