Di sisi lain, ada tiga pemburu hadiah tangguh yaitu Spike Spiegel, Jet Black, dan Faye Valentine yang siap menangkap kawanan pelaku tindak kriminal demi menyelamatkan kehidupan manusia.

Latar belakang tiga pemburu hadiah ini cukup unik. Spike adalah sosok yang memiliki banyak trauma di masa lalu.

Lalu ada Jet dengan gangguan masalah ingatan. Sementara Faye adalah anak hasil rekayasa secara biologis dari pasangan Edward Wong Hau Pepelu Tivrusky IV dan Ein Welsh Corgi.
