The synopsis of the film The First Slam Dunk tells the story of a first year high school student in Shohoku who is famous for his red hair. He is Hanamichi Sakuragi (Subaru Kimura) who is known as a delinquent and is always dumped by women.
Despite having a tall physique and extraordinary physical strength, Sakuragi apparently has no interest whatsoever in the sport of basketball. One day, Sakuragi meets Haruko Akagi (Maaya Sakamoto) and begins to fall in love.
Akagi really likes the sport of basketball and is the opposite of Hanamichi Sakuragi. Finally, to attract the girl’s heart and attention, Sakuragi decided to join the basketball club at his school.
With good skills after studying basketball, Sakuragi managed to enter the main team of the basketball club. He wore a red basketball uniform with the number 10 on his back and played with other core team members.
