Besides canned meat, it’s difficult to tell what Goku eats in Episode 6. After Goku and Panzy have gone to sleep, and Shin has feigned slumber so he can spy on Glorio, the remnants of the rest of their dinner are shown. While the contents of multiple, different cans were consumed, something was also cooked.
Alongside the cans, a pot covered in red sauce can be seen. Presumably, whatever was made inside the pot was cooked by Glorio, using ingredients supplied by Panzy. Although there’s still some sauce leftover, it seems like Goku and the others enjoyed it well enough.
Manpuku Dumplings Are the Perfect Successor to Senzu Beans
When Panzy joins the Z-Warriors, she brings lots of food and supplies with her. Besides canned food, she also brings the uniquely useful Manpuku dumplings. In Episode 7, Goku tries Manpuku Dumplings for the first time, and discovers how similar they are to a food he’s more familiar with.
Manpuku dumplings serve the same function that Senzu Beans did when they were first introduced. Eating just one of these little black spheres is the equivalent to eating two entire meals. Goku, with his bottomless stomach, eats several dumplings, and isn’t full by the time he’s done. While Panzy is baffled by how he could still be hungry, Goku appears satisfied by how the dumplings taste, and by how fat they make his belly.
Goku and His Friends Eat Lots of Demon Realm Takoyaki
Goku’s needs to eat and use the bathroom have been constants in Dragon Ball DAIMA. In Episode 7, after reaching Tamagami 3, the guardian of the Third Demon World’s Dragon Ball, Goku loudly declares that he needs to eat and poop before he fights the machine. Thus, the Z-Warriors head to a nearby restaurant so Goku can take care of all his business.
At the restaurant, Goku eats the Demon Realm equivalent to Takoyaki. While it’s never directly stated that this is what they are, their round shape, brown sauce, and the fact they’re served on skewers heavily implies that. Their demonic traits are their green color, and the jagged teeth on them. Neither Goku, nor any of his friends, take issue with the food’s appearance, as they order a massive amount of it, with all of them eating plenty of the treat. It can also be implied from the waiter serving it to the Z-Warriors that these takoyaki pair well with tea.
